Dave Reynolds of The Dave Reynolds Project is a genre-spanning composer, guitarist, educator, and writer whose music blends sophistication with wide-appeal accessibility. His catalog includes Star Wars Lullabies, Original Lullabies, and Jimmy Buffett Lullabies, as well as guitar-driven instrumental albums like Waves of Soul, Cool Covers, The Dave Reynolds Surf Project, Welcome Home, Meet You in SoCal, and Reflections 2020. Known for his melodic warmth and stylistic range, Dave’s recordings have resonated with listeners across generations.
A versatile performer, Dave has toured nationally with musicals including Jingle Bell Rock, Beehive, and Little Shop of Horrors. He also enjoyed a three-year residency as a solo classical guitarist at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., where he recorded Live from The Renaissance Mayflower Hotel. In addition, he has performed numerous times as a featured solo guitarist on the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, further cementing his reputation as a dynamic and expressive performer.
Dave holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Classical Guitar from Shenandoah University, a Masters of Music in Jazz and Commercial Guitar from Towson University, and a Bachelors of Music Education from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. He has taught at Shepherd University and designed a successful guitar education program for Line 6 in Calabasas, California, inspiring a wide variety of guitarists and musicians.
Currently, Dave is composing and recording music for a new series of short films for Harborough Film Producers and continues to work on collections for Hollywood Trax.
